of July 23, 2007, Domestic Partnerships are On May 18, 2009, Governor Gregiore signed a bill into law that gives domestic partners all of the same legal rights as married couples in the state of Washington. In November, 2009, Washington voters affirmed these rights by majority vote. Washington State is the only state in the U.S. to do this to date. Click
